The artist will meet with you to discuss the subject, medium, price, setting, and pose.

After the first meeting, a photography session will be scheduled at your convenience, lasting an average of two hours. Together we’ll select the photographs to use as references for the painting.

In the studio, the artist will develop a color sketch showing an idea of what the finished painting will look like. We’ll then get together again to discuss this.

Depending on the complexity of the subject, the painting will be completed in approximately one to three months. We will then meet again to get your final approval, and to make suggestions for framing.
